This small class focuses on the specific language proficiency needs of the participants, especially in the area of pronunciation. The course also addresses issues in teaching effectiveness in the U.S. classroom and cross-cultural communication through group discussion and videotaped oral presentations. This course is required for all prospective graduate student instructors who do not meet the minimum requirements on the Oral Proficiency Test following 100A.
